WHAT WE BELIEVE
.
GOD
There is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons who are equal in every divine perfection.
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, declared His deity, confirmed it with miracles, died on the cross as atonement for sin, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended back to heaven.
The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, regenerates, sanctifies, indwells, and empowers those who believe in Jesus Christ.
SCRIPTURES
The Scriptures in the Old and New Testaments were written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and therefore are truthful, authoritative, and perfectly fulfill their divinely given purpose.
HUMANITY
God is the creator of all things, including humans who He made in His image. As image bearers, every person from conception is of inherent dignity and worth and merits the respect of all other persons.
Humans fell through sin and all humans are sinners by nature and by choice, lacking a right relationship with God.
SALVATION
Salvation is God’s gracious work on all who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and through which we receive peace with God, the fullness of life God intends for us, and assurance of future glorification.
THE CHURCH
God’s people are in need of regular fellowship with one another through which they can be encouraged in sanctification and worship and enabled to collectively serve others and expand God’s kingdom.
END TIMES
Jesus will return to this world to fully establish His kingdom, to judge righteously, and to restore the world to God’s perfect design.
